City hears presentation on Crutchfield tax-increment financing project plan; public hearing set for July 30

Mike Dickerson, representing Parker Tulsa and standing in for Aaron Persley, summarized a long planning process he said spans about a decade and described materials and the project plan as available on the city website and the partner Tulsa site. Dickerson said the proposed TIF includes Increment District A (named Increment District Number 24) and five additional increment districts (B–F) and outlined the plan’s administrative provisions, findings, and next steps.
The presiding councilor confirmed a public hearing on the project plan is proposed for July 30; another date cited in the item for a hearing was Aug. 27. Councilors thanked presenters and indicated they were prepared to advance the matter to the scheduled public hearing; no final vote on creation of districts occurred during the July 23 meeting.
