City budget staff presented an ordinance to amend the fiscal year 2025–26 budget and transfer $1,155,186.35 in remaining appropriations within the 2014 sales tax fund to a corridor and small-area planning project.
Jared Moore of the Budget Office said the action would roll remaining balances from completed projects into the corridor and small-area planning project and fund work on a neighborhood condition index. Moore described the projects that provided the residual balances as complete or substantiated by other efforts and said the funds are intended to support continued planning work.
Councilors asked no substantive questions during the brief presentation; no vote was recorded on July 23 and the ordinance remained at introduction and staff presentation stage.
