Committee members discussed examples such as Upward Sports, which sometimes needs extended hours for Saturday games; staff said a higher fee helps offset overtime and weekend staffing for events and tournaments. Commissioner Porter moved to approve the change; a second was recorded and the committee approved the increase by voice vote.
