The Troy City Council on Sept. 8, 2025 approved a series of appointments and purchasing actions in unanimous roll-call votes.
Appointments: Mayor Pro Tem Tim Gunn moved — and Council member Chanda supported — the council’s appointments to the Parks and Recreation Board. The council approved Sonika Atmatkur (term expiring July 31, 2026), and Pamela Brady, Janice Girling and Vinod (Vinod) Mouldir (terms expiring Sept. 30, 2028) as printed in the agenda packet. The council also approved a nomination for Todd Wodzinski as a resident member of the Local Development Finance Authority for a term expiring June 30, 2027 (motion moved and supported as announced in the meeting).
Pool equipment and repairs: Recreation Director Brian Gould introduced two purchasing items. For the Troy Community Center indoor pool the council approved a contract under the Oakland County extended purchasing cooperative to install a variable frequency drive (VFD) on the main pool pump.
