Seneca Street inspection agreement with Sedgwick County The council approved an intergovernmental agreement with Sedgwick County for construction inspection services on the Seneca (between Ford and Fifth) project. Staff estimated the county’s in‑kind value at approximately $522,082 for certified construction inspection services.
Second Street right‑of‑way cleanup Council accepted the low bid from Woodchuck Firewood and Landscaping to clear overgrown right‑of‑way areas west of the former shop building along West Second Street for $12,200. Staff said the work will remove nuisance vegetation and prepare the area for possible replating and subsequent sale to adjacent homeowners.
Administrative actions Council accepted the resignation of City Administrator Brent Clark, effective Oct. 24, and directed the human‑resources director to post the city‑administrator job opening immediately. The consent agenda passed as presented.
