The Grand Island Planning Board on Tuesday approved an accessory storage building to be sited behind a plaza on Baseline, but required additional engineering and design details before building permits are issued.
The project, presented by engineer John Banatac, calls for a single-story, roughly 16-foot-high storage building set just off an existing parking area behind the plaza. Banatac said the units are intended primarily for plaza tenants and the property owner, though they could be rented more broadly if not taken by tenants.
