- National Fitness Council grant and local match: Council accepted a $30,000 grant from the National Fitness Council for an outdoor fitness court to be sited at Provost Park and approved a city match and associated budget amendment for a project budget of $315,000. Council also approved a sole-source waiver and authorized the city manager to execute the purchase order for the fitness-court equipment and installation.
- Consent and routine items: Council approved consent-agenda items and other routine motions recorded during the meeting.
Why it matters: the assessment votes set the city's utility and assessment revenue and rates for FY-2026, and the fitness grant will fund a new outdoor fitness court as part of Provost Park improvements.
