The county’s speaker identified a near-term installation timeline if the board decides to proceed quickly and said vendors are pushing to have materials ordered “by the end of this month” to meet lead-time requirements. Staff asked magistrates to review the three quotes and said a decision could be made at the first meeting next month.
Magistrates did not take a formal vote during the discussion. Staff recommended further review and a follow-up meeting to finalize the purchase and schedule installation.
If approved, staff said the vendor could install the playgrounds quickly after material procurement. No financing or contract award was finalized in the meeting record.
