The Bangor City Planning Board on Aug. 19, 2025, unanimously approved the meeting minutes from its Aug. 5, 2025, session and adopted the board's findings for the Hope House addition at 179 Corporate Drive, Chair Rhys Perkins said.
Member Ted Brush identified an omission in the prior minutes — his attendance had been left off the Aug. 5 attendance list — and the board approved a motion to amend the minutes to add him before adopting the minutes by roll-call vote.
On the Hope House matter, the board considered adoption of written findings prepared after prior review of the project. A motion to adopt the findings passed unanimously on a roll-call vote, making the board's prior substantive determinations for that project an official record.
Per the meeting record, the board signed the Hope House decision at the close of the meeting; staff indicated the decision document should be signed by board members before leaving. The chair asked members to sign the decision and noted that administrative follow-up will be handled by the code-enforcement office.
The meeting proceeded quickly after these items; no public comments were recorded for either the minutes correction or the Hope House findings adoption.
