The San Jose Federated Retirement System board approved a three‑year contract with ACA to provide trading‑cost analysis and foreign‑exchange reporting services.
Staff told trustees the RFP evaluation, interviews, reference checks and internal scoring led to a unanimous recommendation for ACA. The contract bundles trading‑cost analysis (TCA) and FX reporting, and staff projected a Federated Plan cost of $56,250 over three years — described at the meeting as less than half the plan’s prior expense for equivalent services.
Trustees voiced support for the cost savings and asked no substantive follow‑up questions. Trustee Abbott moved to approve the contract; Trustee Evasti seconded the motion, and the board voted in favor by voice/raise‑hand.
Staff said the contract term would run through June 30, 2028, and that investment staff and consultants will oversee vendor delivery and reporting to the investment committee.
