BAR extends critical action date for 20 North Street to Oct. 8 at applicant's request

Staff explained the applicant previously missed a hearing because of translator issues and has classes on Wednesday evenings; the applicant requested more time and proposed an October date that avoids a schedule conflict. Preservation staff said the applicant has been working on abatement of a cited violation with town code enforcement.
Helen Aikman moved to extend the critical action date to Oct. 8; Don Scheuerman seconded. The motion passed 5–0, with two members absent. The board recorded that the extension was granted to permit the applicant time to secure translation services and continue abatement work, and asked staff to coordinate the October agenda placement and applicant notification.
The item will return to the Oct. 8 work session for full review.
