PUSD board approves budget revision, MOUs with Embry‑Riddle, city IGAs and several routine items

The Prescott Unified School District governing board approved a range of routine and policy items during its Aug. 5 meeting, including a first budget revision for fiscal year 2026, memorandums of understanding with Embry‑Riddle Aeronautical University for a federal work‑study tutoring program, intergovernmental agreements (IGAs) with the City of Prescott and adoption of Arizona School Boards Association (ASBA) policy changes.

Budget revision

Chief Financial Officer Brian Moore told the board the revision updates the district's maintenance and operations and capital budgets to reflect final state budget forms and a "state aid supplement" line of $246,825 that replaces Prop 123 funding that has sunseted. MOUs and IGAs
