Luis Bassan, bridge director for the Pharr–Reynosa International Bridge, told the board July 23 that June 2025 showed mixed traffic patterns across vehicle classes and plazas and a year-over-year revenue gain.
Bassan said total bridge crossings for June were 99,670, an increase of 2,658 vehicles (2.74%) compared with the same month in the prior fiscal year. Southbound car crossings for June were 42,759, a decline Bassan described as a 3.5% drop from the comparable period last fiscal year; northbound car crossings were 44,025, a 14.6% increase.
