Bedford County public safety panel reviews sheriff and drug task force reports; approves minutes and reports

The Bedford County Public Safety Committee reviewed reports from the sheriff's office, the 17th Judicial Drug Task Force and the county Office of Emergency Management and approved the Sept. 16 public safety committee minutes and routine reports during its meeting.

Committee members heard detailed operational metrics from the sheriff's office, including patrol mileage and warrants served.
