The actions were taken during the board's regular meeting after a brief presentation by Highway Superintendent Broderick, who described the rejuvenator as a preventative pavement-preservation treatment that helps seal cracks and protect pavement from ultraviolet oxidation. Broderick said the treatment has been used by the town for two prior years and that staff will assess whether to apply it every three or four years going forward.
The board also approved an accounts-payable check run totaling $248,306.98 and voted to authorize budget transfers requested by Budget Officer Jennifer Blasoff.
