Board affirms hires from closed session: five behavior specialists and fiscal analyst to start Nov. 3

• Jacqueline Trimmer — Behavior Intervention Specialist, start date Nov. 3, 2025.
• Nicole Chin — Behavior Intervention Specialist, start date Nov. 3, 2025.
• Nori Saldivar — Fiscal Analyst, start date Nov. 3, 2025.
The superintendent reported there was no employee discipline, dismissal or release arising from closed session matters and that the board had received information on student discipline and labor negotiations; the board gave direction on anticipated litigation.
Why it matters: The behavior intervention specialist hires expand the district’s capacity to provide applied behavior analysis–informed services and supports for students with developmental and behavioral challenges. The fiscal analyst appointment adds capacity in district finance and payroll operations.

Superintendent Jennifer Sachs described candidates’ qualifications on the public record and the board welcomed the incoming staff. The appointments were announced as unanimous staff affirmations; the board said there was no further report from closed session.
Next steps
New hires are scheduled to begin Nov. 3, 2025, and human resources and the supervisor teams will complete onboarding and assignment to school sites and programs.
