Council approves consent agenda, revokes 1144 Chorro PD overlay; closed session items reported

Ordinance revoking PD overlay (1144 Chorro Street) — Council Member Marx moved and Vice Mayor Shoresman seconded a motion to introduce and adopt an ordinance to revoke the planned-development overlay for seven parcels associated with the expired 1144 Chorro Street project and rezone those parcels back to CD and CDH. The motion passed 5-0.
Closed session report — The council reported two closed-session actions at the meeting's end: the council voted 5-0 to direct initiation of litigation in one case (staff said specifics and defendants "will be disclosed upon inquiry at the earliest time that disclosure would not jeopardize the city's ability to effectuate service process"). The council also voted 5-0 to continue an existing lease with the History Center of San Luis Obispo County until 2027, as requested by the History Center. The city reported no reportable action on two other closed-session items.
