CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — School staff on June 5 laid out operational details for Charlottesville Middle School ahead of its fall opening in the 2025–26 school year, describing arrival/dismissal logistics, temporary classroom assignments, lunch arrangements and safety measures while portions of the building remain under construction.
Assistant or project lead Mr. Jordan (as introduced in the meeting) presented a slide briefing and multiple photos showing the new construction site, temporary circulation and where different grade-level teams will be located. He said the main entrance will be on the third level, with steps down to the library and a wall separating the new construction from areas still under renovation. Staff will use fobs and a reduced number of keys so that only personnel with a job need access to specific areas.
