Sunnyvale staff invites board members to APA-Texas conference; city to cover registration

A staff member said a short course at the conference is geared specifically to appointed and elected officials and offers an introduction to planning issues and common Texas-specific topics. The staff member added that staff had emailed commissioners earlier and asked them to respond if they wanted to attend. Staff also reminded the board about recurring training opportunities provided by the town via Zoom and other resources.
No formal vote or action was recorded on the training invitation; the item was informational and the meeting proceeded to the appeal hearing on a fence permit.
