The board approved warrant signatures and the meeting minutes for June 24 and July 8 by voice vote. It approved the consent agenda in bulk, including one-day liquor permits and park-use and banner requests. The board approved a grant to install a rapid rectangular flashing beacon at the Dean Street–Richmond Road/Prescott School crosswalk; the motion to approve was adopted by voice vote.
In licensing business the board approved a change of ownership/manager filing for the Courtyard by Marriott (300 Ridge Road), adding David Ransom as manager of record; the transfer was approved following a public hearing and a state Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission recommendation. The board also approved an ownership-name change for Kelly’s Filling Station (item 4.2) by unanimous voice vote.
