Zoning Administrator grants 2‑year extension for Appajuto minor land division in Roseville area

The Placer County Parcel Review Committee on Oct. 23 approved a two‑year extension of time for the Appajuto Minor Land Division to subdivide a 2.46‑acre parcel at 3463 Baseline Road into two parcels (Parcel A: 1.46 acres; Parcel B: 1.0 acre), in accordance with Placer County Code section 16.2003.
Planning staff recommended the extension, saying the applicant has been diligent and has submitted improvement plans and a final map for staff review but needs additional time to secure financing and to coordinate sewer connections with the City of Roseville. Staff also recommended that the project be determined categorically exempt from CEQA under the county code for minor land divisions (Class 15).
Environmental Health offered no comments and Engineering and Surveying supported staff recommendations. The property owner, Fani Appajuto, addressed the hearing and requested approval of the extension. No members of the public testified. Because no public comment was received, the Zoning Administrator waived the appeal period and advised the owner may proceed with project implementation subject to the conditions and findings in the staff report.
