The council passed Ordinance No. 2025-13, adopting Chapter 3 (Salary Administration) of the city personnel policies and handbook. Clerk-Treasurer Jan Hartley told the council the changes clarified payroll-related language and added some benefits, including adjustments to vacation/leave accrual timing. The council approved the ordinance on first reading and, by suspending the rules, passed it on second and third reading the same night. The council recorded the ordinance as passed.
