The Kenosha County Public Works & Facilities Committee unanimously approved the minutes from its previous meeting and passed three items by voice vote: reinstating a golf-team agreement with UW–Parkside, authorizing an underground telecommunications easement with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, and granting We Energies a permanent distribution easement for a new home in the Village of Salem Lakes.
The committee approved the minutes on a motion by Supervisor Balsky, seconded by Supervisor Greg; the motion passed with no recorded opposition. The committee then voted unanimously to reinstate the golf agreement allowing UW–Parkside players to use county golf facilities at a fee of $95 per rostered player. The committee approved a resolution authorizing an underground telecommunications easement across DNR-owned parcels so that county fiber can be extended to park facilities; the resolution passed unanimously. Later in the meeting members approved a permanent electric distribution easement to allow connection of a new home on Ninetieth Avenue and 112th Street in Salem Lakes; staff said the easement would allow We Energies to connect the new residence to power.
All of the recorded votes in the meeting were taken by voice and described as passing unanimously; no roll-call vote tallies were recorded in the transcript.
