Bonner County commissioners accepted the Treasurer‑Auditor joint quarterly report for fiscal year 2025, third quarter, which shows an ending county balance of $46,014,007.38.
Treasurer Clarissa Coster presented the report and said she did not find discrepancies but flagged that total cash on hand is roughly $4 million less than at the same point last year. Coster said she had not yet identified a single cause but suggested differences could reflect timing of significant expenditures, grant drawdowns or expected revenue timing.
Commissioners asked whether any discrepancies requiring correction were found; Coster said none. Board members asked staff to continue reviewing the cash position and flagged that grant timing and major projects can affect month‑to‑month balances.
The board approved acceptance of the quarterly report by roll call. No public comment was offered on the item.
