Commissioners described the service as capacity for emergency youth respite with on-site foster parents for youth experiencing psychiatric or behavioral crises. Motion carried unanimously.
- Transit grant agreements (ODOT): The board authorized staff to finalize several Oregon Department of Transportation grant agreements: • STIF formula funds (grant #35867) for $5,480,675.30, effective through June 30, 2027 (motion passed unanimously). • 5310 funding (grant #35788) not to exceed $763,525 with a $87,389 local match, effective through June 30, 2027 (motion passed unanimously). • 5311 CARES funding (grant #35885) not to exceed $270,000 with a $211,455 match, effective through June 30, 2026 (motion passed unanimously).
- Opposition letter to House Bill 3133: The commissioners approved, by unanimous vote, an opposition letter to House Bill 3133; the board directed staff to upload the approved letter into the meeting packet and finalize it for transmission.
