Board members and staff discussed that the application process had been active for about a year and that the applicant’s engineers anticipated they could not complete required materials until October. Several board members expressed a preference not to grant another extension, noting the original application fee had been paid by a previous applicant and that the current applicant could resubmit and pay a new fee if needed. A motion to deny any further extension was made and seconded and passed unanimously.
The denial means the application will not remain on the board’s active list; the current applicant may refile in the future and will be subject to standard application procedures and fees.
