Fayette County PDR board authorizes appraisals for two federally funded farms, directs applicants to file water-quality plans

The Fayette County Purchase of Development Rights (PDR) Board authorized appraisals for two federally funded farms and directed applicants to supply agricultural water quality plans before the board's August meeting, members said at a meeting that included a closed session under Kentucky law.

Board Chair Gloria called the meeting into closed session under KRS 61.810(1)(b) to discuss potential acquisition of a real property interest, saying, "I'll call for a motion to enter into closed session pursuant to KRS 61 8 10 1 b because we're gonna discuss the potential acquisition of a real property interest and public discussion would likely affect the value." The board later returned to open session and voted to authorize the two appraisals.
