The Town of Sykesville Mayor and Town Council on Aug. 11 approved its consent agenda and a motion to adjourn.
Consent agenda (approved): - Approval of minutes from the July 14 council meeting. - Reappointment of Ted Ludvinson and Mike Shiner to the Planning Commission for five‑year terms (terms expiring July 2030). - Reappointment of Al McAvoy to the Board of Zoning Appeals for a three‑year term expiring August 2028.
President Carter moved the consent agenda; Council member Dyer seconded the motion. The council approved the consent agenda by voice vote with no recorded opposition.
Adjournment: Councilman Keenan moved to adjourn near the scheduled end of the meeting; the motion was seconded by President Carter and adopted by voice vote. The meeting was adjourned at the close of the session on Aug. 11.
