Assistant Superintendent Dr. Dahl said, "I'm really excited about opening the new school year," and described a full week of new-teacher induction and countywide orientation sessions that preceded the start of classes. Dr. Perry, the superintendent, said districtwide staff will meet the day before students return and added, "It is just so great to see all of the adults come back and get ready to welcome the children the following week on August 19."
