The City of Hayden Planning and Zoning Commission on July 21 approved a conditional-use permit allowing the Church of the Living Water Inc. to build a 7,500-square-foot religious facility on two parcels at 1202 and 1212 West Hayden Avenue.
The permit was approved with the staff-recommended conditions of approval as amended. The commission voted unanimously; Commissioners Erickson, Johnson, Morris and Chair Taylor each recorded “aye.”
The commission heard a presentation from applicant representative Connie Krueger of Stonehenge DNG and from the owner’s representative, Arthur Tormozov. Krueger told commissioners the church site is two parcels totaling 2.76 acres (0.87 and 1.89 acres), zoned single-family residential (R-1), and proposed as a conditional-use religious institution with a potential future accessory school use.
