The board also approved an ongoing parking agreement with Our Lady at Guadalupe that permits the district to use the church parking lot for car-rider pick-up and related maintenance payments. District staff said the agreement has not materially changed in several years and that the district capped semester payments at $7,500.
The annual food-service report, a required sign-off confirming the district's intent to meet state and federal nutrition guidance, was approved without dissent.
The board approved a package of certified personnel items (including long-term substitutes and education-salary adjustments tied to negotiated contract rules) and classified personnel changes (hires, reassignments and substitute approvals). Members explained some personnel changes result from normal staffing shifts, retirements and the bumping process when positions open.
