District to show schematic-design renderings for Northfield High School in September

Superintendent Dr. Matt Hillman told the Northfield board on Aug. 10 that schematic design for the Northfield High School project is nearing completion and that the district will begin sharing renderings with staff and the public in September.
Hillman said the core planning group will be reconvened in September to review updated drawings and first renderings. The district plans to coordinate community updates with Northfield High School events such as early fall parent–teacher conferences to provide convenient opportunities for families to see progress, Hillman said.
Hillman described ongoing technical work behind the scenes and said stakeholders will begin to “see some more substantial updates in the next first few weeks in September.” He said the district has scheduled additional staff presentations and will seek strategic venues for public briefings.
No formal actions were taken on the construction report at the meeting; it was presented as an informational item.
