The Valley County Board of Commissioners on Aug. 20 approved several routine financial and contract actions, including reimbursements tied to local infrastructure grants, a change order at the county transfer station and authorization for the chairman to sign closing documents for a property purchase on Idaho Street. A Parametrix item requiring a commissioner’s recusal was tabled to the Aug. 27 meeting.
The board approved the first reimbursement request for the East McCall grant. Director (unnamed) told commissioners the project has completed work on three units totaling 25 acres and that about 66 acres are currently being worked on; because low bids, the project will cover roughly 40 additional acres under the grant. The reimbursement request approved at the meeting was $55,517.41.
