County approves solicitation of bids for Owl Creek Park phase 2; staff awaiting FHWA sign-off

Sumpter said the county will publish bid notices in local papers and post them on the county website once approval is received.
A commissioner made a motion to authorize solicitation and a second was recorded; the motion passed. Staff emphasized a tight procurement window and said they will report bid results to the commission at a subsequent meeting.
