The City of Roseville Planning Commission on July 24 elected new leadership and confirmed appointments to its design review committee.
Commissioners voted to elect Commissioner Haagenjos as planning commission chair and Commissioner Brashears as vice chair for the coming term. The votes were conducted by roll call and were unanimous.
The commission also appointed a chair, vice chair and an alternate for the three-member design review committee. Commissioners voted to name a design committee chair and to appoint Commissioner Jensen as the design committee alternate. The motions were approved unanimously.
Chair Pryor presided over the elections and opened public comment periods for each item; no members of the public addressed the commission on the leadership items.
Commissioners and staff used the items to thank outgoing leaders. Earlier in the meeting Chair Pryor acknowledged the departure of former Commissioner Randolph from the commission due to a change in residence outside city limits and said the clerk’s office would be notified of the forthcoming vacancy.
The motions were taken during the regular business portion of the July 24 meeting and carry no implementation tasks beyond the normal administrative duties of the named officers and committee members.
