Adopt 2025 California fire and WUI codes with amendments (agenda item 8.2) Motion: Adopt an ordinance amending Gilroy Municipal Code sections adopting by reference the 2025 California Wildland Urban Interface Code and 2025 California Fire Code with local amendments. Vote: 7–0 in favor.
Formation of ICE Center ad hoc committee (agenda item 10.1) Motion: Create an ad hoc committee to engage with the Sharks organization and related stakeholders; appoint Council Members Fugazi, Klein and Hilton to the committee. Vote: 4–3 (Yes: Klein, Fugazi, Hilton, Mayor Bozzo; No: Braco, Marks, Ramirez). The committee will report back to the full council and staff will coordinate its first meeting.
