WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. — Councilor Rachel Holting said Aug. 11 that preliminary feedback from a city survey is "overwhelmingly in favor of rebuilding the pool" at Anderson Park and urged continued community engagement as the city explores options.
Holting described Anderson Pool as a "jewel of the city" and said there are several steps ahead before any final decision. She also announced that the rec center pool will close Saturday and remain closed through Aug. 29; Anderson Pool will be open the next two weekends.
Councilors subsequently referenced the Carnation Festival and community events in their remarks; no formal action was taken on pool design or funding at the Aug. 11 meeting.
