- Declaration of unclaimed recovered funds for police training: Pursuant to South Carolina Code of Laws section 27-21-20, the council voted to declare recovered, unclaimed funds as property of the town and place them into the police department's inventory to be used for officer training. A police representative explained the funds were turned into the department by a Good Samaritan and no owner was located. The motion to place the funds into town inventory was moved and seconded and passed by voice vote.
- Executive session: Council moved into executive session to discuss expansion of businesses in the Sawmill Center development under SC Code 30-4-78(5) and to invite Milton Thomas and Robert Thomas to attend. Motion and second were recorded.
