A member of Hometown Engineering, by letter dated Aug. 7, 2025 and read into the record, requested a 180‑day extension of conditional approval originally issued Jan. 6, 2022, so the owner’s family can proceed with building a single‑family home on the proposed lot and obtain quotes for improvements to Dunmore Lane. Planning board members moved and seconded the measure; the board voted in favor.
The board then considered a written request from a Mr. Bachman for an extension related to a three‑car garage/carriage house. The applicant told staff that his surveying firm has been delayed because of a surge in work; the building department has been provided the required fees, the planner said. After brief comments from board members, the board approved a 180‑day extension for the Bachman project as well.
Both extensions were recorded as 180 days and the board clerk noted the new expiration date as Feb. 5, 2026. No additional conditions were stated on the record beyond the board’s requirement that outstanding submittals and fees be provided to the building department.
