The consent agenda included: minutes from the July 28, 2025 meeting; personnel acknowledgements for Andrew Manolis and Eugene Cutts following completion of their 60-day probationary periods after reclassification to Maintenance 3 effective July 31, 2025; fuel quotes for city departments; a fireworks public display permit submitted by Mike Hoefer for events at the South Dakota State Fairgrounds on Aug. 27 and Aug. 28; and payment of the bills. Commissioners moved and seconded the package and approved it by roll call vote.
Items on the consent agenda were described by staff as noncontroversial and were approved without separate discussion. Any item removed from the consent agenda would have been discussed as a formal item later in the meeting.
The vote was recorded as a roll call; the commission approved the full consent agenda.
