Lynchburg City Schools gives progress update on roofs, fields, playgrounds and CTE equipment

Jordan Eubank, a staff member leading facilities updates for Lynchburg City Public Schools, gave the Finance and Facilities Committee a status report on active capital improvement projects and near-term schedules.
Eubank said the division received the first set of drawings for Linkhorn Elementary and that designers have been selected for several roof replacement projects. “I did actually get the first set of drawings for Lynkhorn Elementary, today,” Eubank said. He told the committee he plans to issue a purchase order for design work before the end of the week.
The committee heard that Heritage High School’s baseball and football turf and track replacements will be constructed by Keystone Sports, with both fields targeted to be finished by Feb. 13, 2026, in time for spring sports. E.C.…
