Clermont County commissioners approve vendor payments, grant addendum and multiple contract renewals

The Clermont County Board of Commissioners on Oct. 8 approved a slate of routine and non-routine measures including the payment of $2,976,823.61 in county invoices, an $81,495 increase to a community corrections grant and amendments to vehicle purchase appropriations.

The actions were taken during the board's regular session and were approved by roll-call votes. Commissioners David L. Painter, Bonnie J. Bachelor and Claire Corcoran voted on each item; several items recorded Painter as abstaining.

Why it matters: The items affect county operations and budgets for 2025–2026, including public safety and probation services, employee benefits and capital equipment appropriations.
