Consultants from WCG presented a draft strategic plan to the Utah County Commission at its Sept. 5 meeting, outlining a vision and mission intended to guide updates to the county's general plan and a transportation master plan.
The consultant, Jeremy Searle of WCG, told commissioners the team has met with county departments and community groups while preparing three linked plans: a strategic plan, a general-plan update and a transportation master plan. Searle said the strategic plan will "guide the direction" of the other two and that the full planning sequence will move forward in early 2026.
