Council approves Board of Equalization recommendations, grants tax exemption to Bridal 21 Park City and forwards three trustee nominations to governor

The Summit County Council on Sept. 3 approved the auditor, assessor and attorney offices’ recommendations from the Board of Equalization (BOE) for the 2024–25 appeal season, granted a property-tax exemption to Bridal 21 Park City and submitted three names to Governor Spencer Cox to fill a trustee vacancy on the Weber Basin Water Conservancy District board.

Council members approved minutes from the June 11 and June 25 meetings and voted to convene briefly as the Board of Equalization to consider this year’s appeals.
