Midvale City Council on Sept. 2 unanimously approved a package of ordinances and resolutions that updated land-use rules, extended grant spending deadlines, authorized design and construction work on several public projects and adjusted redevelopment loan programs.
The council passed two ordinance text amendments: one correcting clerical business-license entries in Title 17 of the municipal code, and another clarifying multifamily development lot standards for the RM‑25 zone. Council members also adopted public art guidelines and accepted an amendment to a Salt Lake County CDBG (Community Development Block Grant) subrecipient agreement so the city’s home‑repair loan program can spend prior-year funds before Dec. 31.
