Committee approves amendment to Breese Stevens Stadium operating agreement on alcohol sales; operator says no THC drinks planned

The Finance Committee on Aug. 25 authorized an amendment to the Breese Stevens Stadium use and operating agreement to update limitations on alcohol sales at stadium events (Legistar 89324). The committee approved the item without objection.
Connor Kaloyah, representing Big Top Events LLC — the stadium operator — told the committee the company currently does not sell THC-containing beverages and has no plans to begin. "We currently do not sell those beverages, and at this time, do not have any plans to do so," Kaloyah said, adding that insurance requirements make such sales burdensome.
The committee moved and seconded adoption of the amendment and, after no questions from staff or members, recorded a unanimous vote in favor.
