The presentation, given by Pastor John and Pastor Nicole with PneumaCare and accompanied by Tina Norman, the organization’s outreach manager, summarized programs for housing stability, food distribution and workforce development. “We provide a household benefit of up to $250,” Pastor Nicole said, and the group is assigning each client to a care coordinator to “support all the ways to stabilize” a household. PneumaCare told the council it is currently serving 101 Oroville residents and, so far this year, has helped about 30 people obtain housing through deposits and navigation services. The office address announced during the meeting was 2445 Bridal Boulevard, Unit 1; the ribbon cutting is scheduled for Sept. 10 at noon.
The presentation emphasized PneumaCare’s regional footprint and collaborations. Pastor John said PneumaCare operates in eight northern California counties and partners with local churches and nonprofits to refer clients and avoid duplicating services.
