Commissioner Chase proposed—and the commission adopted—an amended condition to restrict hours to 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to reduce traffic impacts for nearby residents.
Staff earlier described the site as located in a commercial district adjacent to single-family homes and reported that eight notices were sent: two in favor and two opposed; the nearby Jefferson Heights association did not respond within the 200-foot notice area. The commission noted that any deviation from the stipulated use would require additional review.
During discussion, commissioners asked about parking and site access; the applicant said parking would be accommodated in a rear lot and that customers would be by appointment. Commissioner Chase said the amended hours were intended to give neighborhood flexibility while respecting the applicant’s business needs.
The motion to approve, including the 9:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. hours condition, passed on a commission vote.
