Organizers report 2025 International Days drew tens of thousands; committee sets 2026 dates

Megan Marshall, Price City event coordinator, reported to Price City Council Aug. 13 that the 2025 International Days festival showed high attendance, positive participant feedback and vendor satisfaction, and that the planning committee has approved dates for the 2026 festival.
"This was our 41st International Days," Marshall said, and she described efforts to increase diverse entertainment and food options and to return the festival to its roots of celebrating the cultures that helped found the area. Marshall told the council the festival team deployed community and vendor surveys to measure performance.
Marshall reported the event had an estimated 8,000 people along the parade route (between 700 East and 100 West) and more than 30,000 unique visits across Washington Park, Einar Park and adjacent festival areas during the weekend. She also provided vendor and satisfaction metrics: 99 vendor spots in the park (34 food vendors; 65 merchandise vendors), an overall vendor satisfaction rate of 98 percent, and attendee survey scores with entertainment 3.87/5, food selection 4/5 and an overall rating of 4.22/5.
Marshall described partner contributions from the police, health department, sheriff's office, campus security and Carbon Medical for safety and first-aid coverage. She said the festival team is working with county tourism to refine attendance figures and credited volunteers and sponsors for operational support.
Council members commented on the parade, the reintroduction of a festival mascot and the golf tournament's fundraising role. One councilor asked Marshall to include historical fundraising totals for the golf tournament in future reports; a speaker said the tournament has donated just under $70,000 to local charities over its history and approximately $7,500 in the most recent year.
Marshall said the planning committee approved dates for International Days 2026 in August; she asked staff to publish the presentation and survey details on the city webpage.
