The Fort Worth City Council on Aug. 12 approved a slate of zoning applications, economic development agreements and infrastructure resolutions, adopted the East Side transportation plan and denied a highly contested rezoning request for property at 2521 Oakland Boulevard.
Council members voted to approve agreements bringing Adam Industries — a microelectronic prototyping and semiconductor development firm — to the city and to authorize multiple zoning and site-plan cases across Fort Worth, while also approving a resolution to acquire land rights needed for the Marys Creek force main via eminent domain.
